The 2nd full-length by this Costa Rican band. Like a ceremonial ascend into the realm of cosmically-fueled Lovecraftian riffs, “Atavistic Unraveling” whispers a boundless singular nightmare so profound and riveting it’s almost transcendental in nature. Dissonant and crushingly cacophonous Death Metal is smeared all over the album, but “Atavistic Unraveling” also signals a form of entanglement between the Otherworldly and the primal inquisitive essence of mankind.
