The much anticipated 2nd full-length by this Norwegian band. Whilst retaining the band’s core sound (Autopsy meets Repulsion), “Revelations of Gore” sees bludgeoning riffs and savage tempos colliding with slower, ominous passages that build a heavy atmosphere of dread and decay. The production is predictably crushing and richly organic, staying true to the original ethos of the Metal of Death.
