Tighter and catchier and more caustic than ever before, it’s almost as if the 20 years since their debut full-length never passed, so etched-in-time is the Naked Whipper aesthetic -and yet, in these days when Black/War Metal has blossomed into its own vibrant / overcrowded sub-genre, “Chapel Defilement” sounds remarkably fresh.
