The awe-inspiring debut full-length by this U.S. band. At first a solo side project of Myk Colby from Wharflurch, Plasmodulated took on a new, grotesque life with the addition of a complete lineup a couple of years ago, and now they conjure a unique blend of traditional Floridian Death Metal with sick riffs aplenty, unexpected elements like sci-fi horror and progressive structures. Both disgusting and sublime, “An Ocean ov Putrid, Stinky, Vile, Disgusting Hell” is a sickeningly delightful rip into the organs of the genre, and comes highly recommended to fans of a yucky mix of Demilich, Death, Voivod, Blood Incantation, Slimelord, Immolation, Phlebotomized and Wharflurch.
