The long-awaited 2nd full-length by this U.S. band. Dismal Death/Doom Metal whose influences are only seen as guideposts, not references, and as such summon the madness of such unsung greats like Timeghoul and Demilich, only breathing in the conceptual insanity, and exhaling a truly Flurch-y result. Musically, the journey of this album volleys between chunky/catchy/plodding and tricky/obtuse/beautiful, with the trademark synth flourishes that add a cosmic touch to the proceedings.
