Official compilation of the body of work by these Australian Death Metal legends, featuring the masterpiece "Atavism" EP (1993), the "Paradox" demo (1995, only released on tape back then) and 4 live tracks recorded in Sydney as they supported Death Metal veterans Sinister in 2014. Cruciform is perhaps one of the most significant Australian Metal bands of the early 90´s, playing a creeping and heavy form of Death/Doom Metal similar to that of the early recordings by Paradise Lost, Anathema, Decomposed (U.K.) and My Dying Bride, featuring slow, lingering riffs and epic arrangements. Cruciform could have gone on to take a serious role on the worldwide stage but internal conflicts sadly tore the band apart on the verge of international recognition.
